Trust in Washington Nears Historic Low

That’s according to a paper published by the American Enterprise Institute. The authors survey the evolution of Americans’ views about government. The findings show trust in the federal government has declined among Republicans, Democrats and independents. Meanwhile, the polls suggest Americans are more positive about local government’s ability to solve problems.
